Our Institute
Shri Mouni Vidyapeeth, an educational institution of international repute, was established in the year 1952 with the motto “Rural Reconstruction Through Education And Education Through Rural Reconstruction.” The founder member of this institution is Dr V .T Patil and Padmashri Dr J.P Naik, the eminent educationist in India. This institute was established to materialize the concept of rural university elaborated in Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan Commision in the year 1948.
Shri Mouni Maharaj was the guru of great maratha warrior Shri Chhatrapti Shivaji Maharaj and Shri Mouni Vidyapeeth is rightly handed in the memory of this great saint. Knowledge ,service, devotion, and simplicity are few of his main teaching themes and these are nutured by this Vidyapeeth in a very effective manner. Shri Mouni Vidyapeeth is the Educational Laboratory where new techniques and methods of education are evolved. These methods and techniques are experimented to educate the rural masses. A new vision for development is provided by Shri Mouni Vidyapeeth.
At present under the shadow of Shri Mouni Vidyapeeth there are 19 different play ground, gymnacium, 11hostels ,one grand quarters, guest house, an auditorium with reading halls etc. more than 65 acres of land is in possession by this institution.
